Support
You don't have to do this alone
Whether you're in crisis right now, early in recovery, or supporting someone you love — help is available. This page exists so you can find it fast.
If you are in immediate danger
Call 999 (UK), 911 (US), or 112 (EU). These are emergency services — they will help you now.

UK helplines
Free, confidential support lines. Most are available 24/7.
Fellowships
Find a fellowship
Fellowships are free, peer-led communities of people in recovery. There are no fees, no sign-ups — just people who understand.
What to expect
Not sure what happens when you call?
It's confidential
Nobody will know you called. These services don't share your information with anyone — not your employer, not your family, not the police.
You don't have to say everything
You can share as much or as little as you want. Just saying "I think I have a problem" is enough. They'll take it from there.
There's no commitment
Calling a helpline doesn't sign you up for anything. You're not admitting to a crime. You're asking for help — and that takes courage.
They've heard it before
Whatever you're going through, the person on the other end has spoken to someone in the same place. You won't be judged.
For families & friends
Supporting someone in recovery
Watching someone you love struggle with addiction is exhausting. You don't have to carry it alone either.
Al-Anon supports families affected by alcohol. Nar-Anon supports families affected by drugs. Both are free, anonymous, and available across the UK, US, and Ireland.
You didn't cause it. You can't control it. You can't cure it. But you can get support for yourself.
